Had a call to remind me my service for boiler was overdue ,boiler was serviced efficiently and the engineer was very courteous , there was a part needed after the service and the guy informed me I wouldn't need to do anything, they ordered the part and called to arrange a date and time suitable for me everything was taken out of my hands and the staff... girl from the office and the engineer were so helpful it was so plain sailing for me .

We had a new worcester combi boiler fitted last week.
Engineer first class, very professional, explained new system, checked all was working well and left the utility room clean. Old boiler and parts taken away. Delighted with installation - hoping the new boiler works as well as it looks!

Recently had our third boiler installed and the work was done by O'Neil Gas - this was a new one for us as it is thermostatically controlled. The engineers were a credit to their employers and very respectful of the work needed and the noise level. Very satisfied with our new heating system.

Our oil boiler was due a service so we reached out to O'Neils. They were able to find a time to suit quickly and, on the day, the engineer was a little earlier but had told them we would be home.

The service was straightforward and we were told about things to check and signs to look out for. This was helpful as we are fairly new to the property and the previous company didn't mention any of this so we thought this showed excellent customer service.

We will invite them back next year and know that should we have any issues they will be able to help us.

My recent experience was met with Excellent, Efficient and Friendly Customer Service Staff in regard to an urgent home repair. The Engineer carried out a thorough investigation and completed a challenging repair given the confined space and location. Under the circumstances all those involved exceeded my expectations.

Hugh, the engineer, took the time to explain all the service details and was very knowledgeable about the system.
Callum and Brian did an excellent job installing our new boiler.

I had to call out an engineer on Saturday night. Alister the engineer told me he was on his way and kept me updated on his progress. Really knowledgeable guy. He needed some obscure part which he organised for early delivery. He made sure I had heating and hot water before he left. When I phoned his office on Monday morning I found the part and engineer visit had already been organised. Great service!

Have used O'Neil G&P for years and always have had excellent service. The office staff are always very pleasant and helpful and the engineers are friendly and professional. Had an issue with boiler this week and the engineer came out within two hours of call and issue resolved. He was very helpful with advice. O'Neil are an established company with a lot of experience and offer great customer service.

O’Neil carried out my annual boiler/heating service. The work was carried out by a courteous and efficient engineer who was also helpful in answering my questions. Also worthy of a mention are the very helpful and pleasant office staff who arranged the service and followed up to ensure customer satisfaction.

Had a leak in my boiler and called up O'Neil, they had a guy at my place within 40 Minutes and he had the problem sorted within another 20 minutes.

The GasCare contract is worth every penny.

I cannot speak too highly of the excellent service I have received from the whole O'Neil team, from the friendly and efficient staff on the phone to the competent and knowledgeable engineers who have called. At a time of year where there is greatly increased demand, their system is obviously geared to cope well. As someone who has experienced the frustrations of being kept on hold I was particularly impressed that there was an option to get a call back which actually worked. This is a firm I am happy to recommend.

The engineer was with us within two hours of my request for assistance and he was very pleasant and proved most helpful. The problem was resolved in good time.

Everything worked like clockwork - special arrangements were made to fit in with our not being at the flat all of the time but nothing seemed too much bother. I had cause to call out o’neils heating engineers a few times recently. On each occasion, the response was immediate, with a engineer out very quickly. They all were able to identify the problems and fix them. Where a new part had to be ordered, this was also done quickly . The engineers were efficient, explaining what they were doing with a friendly manner. Highly recommend.

I have the monthly payment plan, service every year and no fuss repairs when required I have had the heat exchanger replaced and a leaking radiator repaired. Heating engineers and office staff extremely helpful an excellent local company.

first service from o’neils on my boiler. got appointment no problem. engineer called the night before to ask if could come a bit earlier than arranged…. suited me fine. Very helpful and friendly bloke and took the time to explain a couple of things to me that i wasn't sure of regarding pressures etc… . cleared everything up for me advised what to look for if i thought there were any issues again. great service. good price for the plan. have already recommended them to my mum for a service plan. 👍🏻

Just had my free annual boiler service under my silver plan with O’Neil.Excellent from start to finish.
Called to make an appointment. I was given all the relevant information and informed that I would be contacted on the day of the service(23.6.2020).
I received a call from the engineer, Brian Thomson, advising that he would be with me in about thirty minutes. He duly arrived as scheduled with all the proper PPE for COVID-19.
The actual service was done smoothly. Checked the gas meter and the serviced the boiler. Friendly and informative.
My first service. Initial positive impression. Would highly recommend.

Would recommend to anyone. I changed over from British Gas in January, as I felt they were getting to expensive for my boiler and radiator cover. O'Neil's were £10 cheaper per month, and made it easy to change over. Just had my annual service, and the gentleman was friendly and knew his stuff. Recently I was reviewing my Father in Laws boiler contract with Scottish Gas and was shocked at what he was paying so he is now also on O'Neils £7.50 a month deal which I consider very good value as it includes everything excepting a £80 call out charge, I could have paid £15.00 a month and there would be no call out charge.
Even at the £15.00 charge O'Neil is still well under Scottish Gas's tariff.

I called O'Neil not expecting an engineer to call until the lock down is over as my heating was stuck on rather than having no heating at all. Hannah got in touch by return and arranged for Brian to call. My heating system is a bit temperamental and driven by an oil fired Raeburn so I am very limited in my choice of companies that can provide comprehensive help. Brian arrived by the back door straight into the kitchen and kept well away from me and the rest of my house (apart from the loft where the problem actually was). Thank you for such a prompt response and observing the social distancing. I am warm and cosy again whenever I choose to be.

Called O’Neil last week about a boiler fault. Engineer arrived inside 2 hours, identified the problem, ordered parts and effected a temporary repair. Second engineer replaced the faulty parts a couple of days later. Both engineers were friendly and efficient and ensured that precautions around Covid requirements were fully complied with. Excellent service.

Central heating broke down, but when engineer left we ended up with no CH or hot water.took two weeks and a few engineers to get to the root of the cause but eventually O'Neil's sent a young boy called Graeme who was very good.
Took a while but all in all the service was very good

The first appointment was cancelled but was re-scheduled for the following week. The engineer arrived at the appointed time and carried out the annual boiler maintenance checks. He tidied up when finished and completed the service schedule.

We took out the monthly care plan and are now in our 2nd year. Had our annual device yesterday and was really impressed with the engineer who visited (Ross) who took time to go through everything with us and gave some good tips on money saving and safety of the appliances. Was also very grateful that we received a call in the morning to give a precise time for the appointment so we were able to avoid someone waiting in all day for the visit. Would definitely recommend O’Neil Gas to others.
